Melissa Wright, pianist

Joining the Silva Piano Studios teaching staff is pianist, Melissa Wright. She graduated form Kennesaw State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. She studied with David Watkins and Judith Dodd. Her early training was with Susan Naylor and George Lucktenburg from Reinhardt College. She currently studies with Dr. and Mrs. Silva. Melissa has a passion for music education and has been teaching in Cobb County and the Greater Atlanta area since 1994. She is trained to teach the Gradus Piano Course. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading , art, attending concerts, traveling, tai chi and being outdoors.

Wendy Stephens, pianist

Wendy Stephens started her piano training at the age of four. Most of her childhood and teen years were spent in Cote D'Ivoire, West Africa with her missionary parents. During this time in Africa, she continued lessons with various teachers and became an accomplished pianist. Wendy has taught in the Gwinnett County area since 1998. In 2000, Wendy began studies with Dr. Silva. She taught at Berean Batist Music Academy in Lilburn, GA since 2005. She is the pianist for Heritage Baptist Church in Grayson, GA. Wendy received teacher training with the Gradus Piano Course. She has two children, ages 3 and 12. She enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
